Research/Teaching Specialization: Nicholas C. Howson is an Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Michigan Law School, specializing in Chinese law and legal institutions, and corporate and securities law. He was previously a partner at the international law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, practicing in New York, London, Paris, Hong Kong and Beijing, and for a long period managing partner of that firm's China Practice based in Beijing, China.
