Research/Teaching Specialization: Professor Tardif completed her doctorate in Psychology at Yale University in 1993 and joined the faculty of the University of Michigan in 2002. Her primary research interests are in exploring early language learning in Mandarin and the relations between caregivers' beliefs and their interactions with young children.
