Research/Teaching Specialization: Dr. Song is a 2008-09 Hughes Scholar of the Center for Chinese Studies. She will be on campus from September 2008 until August 2009 working with U-M Professor Wang Zheng in Women's Studies on "The Interplay of Confucian and Socialist Traditions and its Impact on Gender Dynamics in Contemporary China."
