Faculty Fellowships

Kiyoteru Tsutsui, Assistant Professor of Sociology, will teach CICS 401 "Global Human Rights and Local Practices".  As part of Professor Tsutsui's course, there will be two live video conferences with the United Nations:

Dec. 3:  What is wrong with global human rights instruments?

Dec. 10: What are we going to do to improve global human rights efforts?

Professor Tsutsui will present a public lecture December 2, 2009, at 3:00 pm in the University Union Kuenzal Room.

Evelyn Alsultany, Assistant Professor of American Culture,will also be teaching a CICS 401 seminar this fall: "Why do they hate us? Perspectives on 9/11".

Professor Alsultany will present a public lecture, "The 'War on Terror' in U.S. TV Dramas" during the Winter 2010 semester.  Check back for venue and time.

Daniel Levine, Professor of Political Science, will teach the CICS 401 seminar, "Transnational Religion Rights, Security, and Peacemaking" for the Winter 2010 semester.
