The December 2014 Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is scheduled on Sunday, December 7, 2014. Registration for this test administration is now closed.

The test date for 2014 is Sunday, December 7.
JLPT is administered annually on the first Sunday in December. The July administration of JLPT is NOT given in the United States.
JLPT begins promptly at 1pm. Examinees are requested to arrive at 12:30pm for check-in. Depending on the testing level, JLPT takes 2 to 3.5 hours, including breaks between sections. Detailed test schedules will be sent to each registered examinee with the Test Admission Voucher in November.
The test will be given in the Mason Hall classrooms on U-M's Central Campus in Ann Arbor. Exact room assignments will be mailed with your Test Admission Voucher in November.
Registration for the December 2014 administration of JLPT is now CLOSED. All test takers must be registered during this registration period; there is NO LATE registration and NO ON-SITE registration.

Registration for all test sites in the United States is handled by the JLPT Administration Committee in the United States office, hosted by the American Association of Teachers of Japanese and located in Boulder, Colorado.

Please be aware that the day before the test, Saturday, November 30, is a home football game day (against Ohio State University) and lodging in Ann Arbor for Saturday night is expected to be scarce.
Public transportation (AATA and U-M campus blue shuttle) is expected to be on a reduced schedule during Thanksgiving weekend. Please plan ahead, check their schedule, and allow extra time to arrive at the test site.
