Entrenched in isolationism, North Korean life and culture remains largely hidden to much of the world. The CKS Korean Film Series screened at the Michigan Theatre offers - through a range of filmmakers - a chance to glimpse beyond the border and a chance to experience the comedy, passion, and drama of humanity in this increasingly controversial region.
