CSEAS Summer FLAS Fellowships are available for undergraduate, graduate, and professional students
Summer Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowships enable current U-M undergraduate and graduate students to participate in the study of a less commonly taught modern language in a summer intensive language program. These intensive language programs must teach the equivalent of a full academic year (fall and winter terms) of language classes at the University of Michigan. Students may attend an approved intensive language program, such as the Southeast Asian Summer Studies Institute (SEASSI) or an approved intensive language program located outside the U.S. Visit the U-M FLAS page for more information.
Complete the FLAS application and arrange for all of the supporting materials to arrive at CSEAS by 5:00 pm on February 21.
