ITOC: International Travel Registration

The International Travel Oversight Committee (ITOC), a standing committee appointed by the Provost, reviews safety, health, and logistical arrangements for existing and proposed study abroad programs and other international group activities.

Please note: Students, faculty, staff traveling outside the U.S. on University-related activities should consult the ITOC website for information resources on international travel. All U-M undergraduate, graduate, and graduate/professional students taking part in University-sponsored international travel are required to register on the on-line International Travel Registry. Faculty and staff who lead students on trips abroad or who are engaged in research or other work connected with academic, professional, or University business are strongly encouraged to register. Individual schools and colleges may have more stringent reporting requirements, and faculty and staff employed within these units should comply with unit regulations.
