  Martín Castillo Collado is an educator with an MA in Bilingual Intercultural Education from PROEIB Andes, Universidad Mayor de San Simón in Bolivia. His MA Dissertation: Aprendiendo con el corazón: el tejido andino en la educación quechua (Learning with the heart: Andean weaving in Quechua education) was published by PINSEIB, PROEIB Andes in 2005. He has served as head of UNICEF Peru’s indigenous curriculum design team and undertaken a literacy and curriculum development project with grant support from the Foundation for Endangered Languages in London.
