The center hosts an annual residency that showcases traditional Korean culture. This year, with the support of the U-M Center for World Performance Studies, two musicians will be bringing the Music of Strings and Wind to Michigan in February.

The center annually hosts a  Sang-Yong Nam Memorial Lecture that celebrates the contributions made by Elder Nam to the center and at which time, the Sang-Yong Nam Award is presented.
