International studies advisors are available to meet with undeclared students who would like to learn more about the program, and also with current concentrators and minors who would like to discuss course selection, degree requirements, degree audits, and other matters of concern. Please make your advising appointment by clicking on meet with an advisor.
Undeclared students should also plan to attend, if possible, one of the international studies orientation and Q&A sessions discussed in the right hand column.
Concentrators, and students considering the concentration, should also see our frequently asked questions (FAQ) page. You may save yourself a walk to our office.
Concentrators and minors seeking career or graduate school advice are also encouraged to schedule a meeting with our director Professor William Clark.
Orientation and Q&A

Upcoming Winter Sessions
- Tuesday, February 12 12pm-1pm
- Thursday, March 28 4pm-5pm
- Tuesday, April 16 12pm-1pm
All sessions are held in room 1644, SSWB.*
Your attendance at one of these sessions is strongly encouraged. We appreciate the efficiency of sharing the same basic information fewer times, and you'll get better information because more students asking questions means fewer questions you later wish you had asked. And the if you like what you hear, you can declare on the spot.
*SSWB is the School of Social Work Building, at the corner of East and South University streets. A half hour presentation will be followed by time for questions and discussion.
