Latin American & Caribbean Studies Academic Minor
In the growing global marketplace, do you know which country is Michigan's largest trading partner outside of neighboring Canada? Not Germany, not Japan... but Mexico!
As our ties with countries near and far continue to strengthen, a premium is placed on our ability to understand and work with diverse cultures and societies.
The Latin American and Caribbean Studies Academic Minor is designed to give you a multidisciplinary approach to the study of the vibrant and growing countries of the Americas, from Mexico and the Caribbean to Chile and Argentina, and to certify that you have received a solid education in the study of the area from one of the nation's premier research institutions.
