International Studies Concentration


The International Studies (IS) concentration offers students the opportunity to take a set of courses across disciplines bringing multiple methods and concepts together to address global problems.

The concentration will draw on methods developed in specific disciplines such as economics, sociology, psychology, comparative literature, political science, anthropology, and history.

Students choose one of four tracks:

1.  International Security, Norms, and Cooperation

2.  Political Economy and Development

3.  Comparative Culture and Identity

4.  Global Environment and Health

For each track there is a prescribed menu of courses.
