CCS Alumni


Since the Center for Chinese Studies was founded in 1961, more than 250 students have received Master's degrees. Many graduates have gone on to distinguished careers including: university professors; China specialists and foreign service officers for the US State Department; government officers in the Embassies of Japan in Beijing, South Korean in Beijing and the United States in Beijing; senior advisor for the US Department of Agriculture; attorneys; army liaison officer; specialist for the World Bank; directors of research facilities; China Coordinator for the University of Michigan; editor for the US-China Business Council and  Corporate Investigation/Research Manager for a major hotel/resort.
