International Studies Minor

Are you looking for an interdisciplinary minor to complement your major concentration?

The International Studies minor is ideal for students planning to pursue advanced degrees or careers in international law, international business, public policy, global health, and government or nongovernmental organizations. The minor is also ideal for any student interested in learning a foreign language and exploring international topics. Students build their own curriculum within the framework of a chosen region, language, and theme from an extensive menu of courses from across campus.

Study abroad is strongly encouraged although not required. IS minors who study abroad through an accredited UM program are eligible for CICS funding.
