Teacher Outreach

The centers at the University of Michigan International Institute work together to provide a comprehensive set of resources about teaching globally. The Center for Russian and East European Studies, a recipient of Title VI funds through the U.S. Department of Education, offers a variety of activities and services that can be used for education on Russia, Eastern Europe, and Eurasia in K-16 classrooms. Among the most popular are teacher training workshops for K-12 educators and the Post-secondary Curriculum Development Program for faculty at community colleges and four-year colleges and universities.
