The Korean Collection at University of Michigan is part of the Korea Foundation’s Korean Collections Consortium of North America. It is located in the Asia Library which is part of the Graduate Library on central campus. The Korean Collection numbers 32,000 volumes. The collection does not contain items written in western languages. In terms of cataloging and computerizing Korean language materials, these are accessed through the University of Michigan Library Catalog and the shared databases OCLC. U-M is a member of OCLC (Online Computer Library Center) and contributes full-level bibliographic MARC records to its union catalog, WorldCat.
