    Jessica Robbins-Ruszkowski is a Title VIII-Supported Research Scholar in the European Studies Program at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, DC. She completed her Ph.D. in anthropology at the University of Michigan in May, 2013. Jessica's dissertation is titled, “Personhood in Places: Aging, Memory, and Relatedness in Postsocialist Poland.” Her research interests include medical anthropology, aging and the life course, postsocialist studies, kinship and personhood, political economy, morality, memory, population studies, palliative care and hospice, and gardens.
