The Weiser Center for Emerging Democracies engages with graduate students by offering Weiser Emerging Democracy Fellowships to incoming students at the University of Michigan who expect to focus their graduate work around the theme of "emerging democracy past or present" in Europe or Eurasia. WCED Fellows are invited to participate in an interdisciplinary workshop that meets several times a year.
