Supporting WCEE

The Weiser Center for Europe and Eurasia (WCEE) works in common association with the Center for European Studies-European Union Center (CES-EUC), Center for Russian and East European Studies (CREES), and Weiser Center for Emerging Democracies (WCED) at the University of Michigan International Institute. It is dedicated to enhancing interdisciplinary knowledge about, and public engagement with, the institutions, cultures, and histories of Europe and Eurasia. Your gifts to WCEE are vital to the ability of our Centers to support scholarship on, and the involvement of students and faculty, in the region. A donation to one of our gift funds is the most significant way you can help us secure the University of Michigan's leadership in the field of European, Eurasian, and democratization studies.

Gifts may be made to WCEE and are deductible as allowed by law. Gifts may be made with cash, checks, or credit cards; matching gifts (please include the appropriate paperwork from the matching agency with your gift); and securities (stock gifts). A life income plan may provide immediate tax advantages and generate annual income streams for you or other named beneficiaries. The University of Michigan will help you select the plan that is best for you and your situation. WCEE endowments help support internships, faculty and student travel, visiting lecturers, and special courses related to Europe, Eurasia, and historical, contemporary, and prospective transformation from authoritarian rule to democracies in these regions. We hope that you will help build the future financial security of our regional studies programs by contributing to one of the funds listed below:

1. The Center for European Studies Fund
The Center for European Studies is seeking to build an endowment to sustain and improve our interdisciplinary efforts. We wish to expose U-M students to the best scholarship and teaching on Europe, to help students from Europe to study at U-M and U-M students to spend time in European institutions, and to aid faculty who wish to do research in Europe.
