Professor of Microbiology Cheong-Hee Chang, who serves on STEM-Africa's Steering Committee, is spearheading a pharm-biotech partnership with Uganda' Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST). MUST's Vice Chancellor visited the university this month to sign a Memorandum of Understanding agreement between the two institutions.
