Thai Studies Faculty Research Grants

This funding is made possible by the Amnuay-Samonsri Viravan Endowment for Thai Studies housed at the University of Michigan.

U-M faculty who work on Thailand are invited to submit proposals concerning: research; conference travel; and internship support. Preference will be given to those who have not received funding in the past.

Due to growing demand for Thai Studies Endowment funds faculty award recipients must wait one year before applying for additional funds.

Awards will be made in April and must be spent by the following April.

Award recipients are required to submit a brief report of the project and may be asked to present the results of their work. Reports are due to CSEAS one month after funds are spent or May 2016, whichever comes first. Please also inform us of any publications or presentations that come from supported research.
