ASC Festival. U-M at the 36th African World Festival Detroit

The University of Michigan African Studies Center (ASC), together with the Department of Afroamerican and African Studies (DAAS), the Detroit Center, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, and the Department of African and African American Studies (AAAS) at the University of Michigan Dearborn, will be participating in the 36th African World Festival-Detroit, an annual event that attracts over 150,000 people each year, showcases information, performances, crafts, food, and activities for all ages.

The U-M booth will provide information and presentations about the various academic programs and student organizations on campus related to Africa and its diaspora, and our engagement with Detroit.
