Peter Kang

Peter Kang is currently Co-President of Production at Lionsgate.  Before arriving at Lionsgate, he was Executive Vice President of Production at Paramount Pictures and at Twentieth Century Fox.   At Fox, he helped originate and oversee Rise of the Planet of the Apes and its sequel Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.

While at Fox, he also obtained for the studio the rights to bestselling books such as Gillian Flynn’s Gone Girl, James Dashner’s The Maze Runner trilogy,  Ransom Riggs’ Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children and Michael Lewis’ Blind Side, all of which he helped push into production. 

 Kang joined Fox in 1996 after graduating from the Peter Stark Producing Program at University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts and University of Michigan's Ross School of Business in 1994.
