Suk-Chae Lee

Suk-Chae Lee received his BA in Management from Seoul National University and PhD in Economics from Boston University. Dr. Lee has served in many positions in the Korean government, which include: Budget Director, Vice Minister of Finance and Economy, Minister of Information and Communication, and Chief Economic Advisor. Dr. Lee went on to work in the private sector, eventually becoming chairman and CEO of the KT Corporation, and oversaw many reforms taking the company to from a fixed-line provider to an IT company over his tenure. Despite a relatively short career in the business world, Dr. Lee was ranked as the 9th most all-time respected business leader and the only non-owner in the ranking’s top 10 in a recent Korean Gallup poll.
