Zhiyuan Cui

Zhiyuan Cui s a Professor at the School of Public Policy and Management, Tsinghua University, Beijing. He received his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Chicago in 1995. In 2004, he was selected as a Fellow of The Institute for Advanced Studies in Berlin, and in 2007 & 2008 was an Anthony W. and Lulu C. Wang Distinguished Visiting Professor at Cornell University Law School. His selective writings include: The Dilemma of Invisible Hand Paradigm, The Second Thought Liberalization Movement and Institutional Innovation, and Whither China?. He also co-authored (with Adam Przeworski, et. al) Sustainable Democracy, was editor of Robert Unger's Politics, and co-editor (with Huang Ping) of China and Globalization: Washington Consensus, Beijing Consensus or what?. His recent essays are translated into Korean as The Manifesto for Petty Bourgeois Socialism.
