CSAS continues a practice inaugurated by Barbara Metcalf in 2005-06 of holding Friday afternoon talks followed by a reception for attendees to meet and mingle. Our Series is generally held in International Institute, Room 1636, at 4:00 pm on Fridays throughout the academic year.
Speakers in our various scholarly programs feature faculty members in residence as well as visitors from across the U.S., Europe, and South Asia. A wide range of disciplines are represented, including History, Literature, Law, Architectural History and Anthropology.
