Graduate Student Funding

All travel must follow current guidelines, which are detailed in the International Institute Travel Policy.

The Lieberthal-Rogel Center for Chinese Studies (LRCCS) awards a number of fellowships and grants to U-M graduate and undergraduate students in Chinese studies.

Instructions

  • Rackham Graduate School Admission Application
New MA Applicants to MIRS: Chinese Studies Subplan (including dual degree) who are completing the online Rackham Graduate School application will automatically be considered for LRCCS fellowships. They do not need to complete a separate application. Current Rackham students applying for a dual degree in Chinese studies must complete an LRCCS fellowship application.
  • Online Portal

For information on categories of funding, see the LRCCS funding tabs below. The Conference Travel Funding and LRCCS Graduate Student Emergency Funding are only open to graduate level students and are evaluated on a rolling basis and have separate application forms.
