Study Abroad

The first Japanese students to study at the University of Michigan arrived in Ann Arbor in 1873. Today, over 140 years later, U-M and the Center for Japanese Studies offer a wide variety of study abroad programs in Japan, ranging from 3-4 week spring/summer experiential courses led by CJS faculty to semester/year-long exchange programs.
